This is a vital first step of each session as we all carry thoughts and feelings inside and it is not until we verbalise them that the clearing of negative thought patterns and destructive habits can begin – it gives them voice, makes them heard, validates them and initiates the process of their release. This release ensures a more effective treatment with longer lasting benefits,” says Claire Candy.

“If we have not honoured our thoughts, feelings and opinions in the past, we have given our power or sense of ‘true self’ away. When we allow other people’s expectations of ourselves to take away that power we feel dishonoured. We actually allow them to make us feel sad, angry, upset, resentful, bitter, etc. By always standing in our own truth and acknowledging our thoughts, feelings and opinions, we won’t allow another person’s actions or words to impact negatively upon us. It doesn’t matter how another person acts; what matters is how you react to them. After all, we can’t control others; we can only control our own actions and reactions. Ultimately, it’s not what happens to us in life – it is our perception of what happens.”
